Silvana’s video and television career began behind the scenes as a food stylist, home economist and writer for iconic daytime cookery series Can’t Cook Won’t Cook. Continuing to work on several series in the UK and in the US with her early mentor, chef  Ainsley Harriott led to her occasional appearance on screen as his sidekick and then to co-hosting her own series The Best for the BBC.

Silvana has guested on many programmes such as This Morning, GMTV and Market Kitchen. As the years pass we see an eye-popping array of different hairstyles and lipgloss and the appearance of her children Fabio and Cassia as food assistants.
